Abrimos puertas 5:00PM \nGerry Frank Ampitheater\, Riverfront City Park 200 Water St. NE Salem\, OR 97301 \nMexico en el corazon is an initiative of NAIMA\, the North American Institute for Mexican Advancement\, an organization comprised primarily of entrepreneurs whose mission is to “improve the lives of the Mexican-American and Mexican communities in North America by empowering them through educational\, social\, economic development\, and integration initiatives.” One of its activities is the dissemination of art and culture\, which allows for a greater understanding of our traditions while reinforcing in the community a recognition of the great contributions and presence of immigrants in the country\, as the United States has always depended on the innovation\, hard work\, and optimism of immigrants. By volunteering you are able to experience the event first hand. As an added bonus to whomever decides to volunteer\, they will get the chance to hang out in the VIP lounge area afterwards to enjoy the show.
